The 10th Annual Asthma Disparities Summit will hone in on the benefits and logistics of the emerging alliance among Philadelphia’s clinic, community and school professionals as well as with caregivers of children with asthma. By learning about the current efforts and interprofessional communication across sectors, the audience will be better equipped to support children with asthma using a health equity lens.

The post-conference Integrated Pest Management course will be provided by the Pennsylvania’s Department of Agriculture Integrated Pest Management Program on October 18th, 2018, 8:00am-4:00pm at Roberts Center, 9th Fl., Rm. 9110.

The Summit and post-conference workshop are free of charge and lunch is provided. Everyone is welcome, including health care professionals, researchers, public health professionals, educators/daycare staff and parents.

Objectives

1. Understand the current national data on disparities.
2. Understand the importance of connecting the four sectors of asthma care for children.
3. Know how to apply a health equity lens to reduce asthma disparities.
